If you love the idea of a freshly baked loaf of bread, but don't want the hassle of prepping the ingredients, this ready-mixed beer bread mixture is for you. With this authentic mixture of ingredients, you have everything you need to bake a steaming hot garlic and herb loaf in less than 60 minutes! Simply add 330ml of beer (or cider / soda water), mix together in a bowl and pop into the oven! The beer bread mix can also be used to batter chicken and fish, too!
Set up by Tayrene and based on her Grandmother's recipe, Barrett's Ridge Beer Bread is packaged at Ukama Holdings, who provide on-going training, mentorship and support to black-owned micro-enterprises. The distinctive calico bags have been handsewn by South African charity, Deaf Hands at Work, adding an extra personal touch , also making them a great gift option!
