This 73% Bittersweet Dark Chocolate is made entirely (bean-to-bar) in Ghana with freshly harvested Fairtrade cocoa to create great flavour and benefit local communities.
Bold in flavour, the intensity of 85% dark chocolate is balanced by a silky smooth texture, light acidity and a gentle buttery melt that slowly releases a range of earthy notes.
Although this product is not labelled as "Fairtrade", the farmers and factory are certified Fairtrade. Made In Africa also have an agreement to pay an extra 50% of the Fairtrade premium, meaning they pay 150% in total. The extra money is used for development projects in the farmer community.
